The B&R X20CP1586 is the high-performance member of the one-slot X20CP15xx controller family. Its 1.6 GHz Intel Atom E680T processor, 512 MB RAM and 100 µs minimum task-class cycle support demanding logic, communication and coordinated machine-control tasks.
Compared with the X20CP1583, the X20CP1586 provides a substantially faster processor, four times the RAM and more remanent capacity. Compared with the X20CP3586, it offers the same core performance in a narrower housing but has one instead of three modular interface slots and does not support redundancy.
