The ELAU MC-4/11/22/400 is a higher-current single-axis servo drive for PacDrive machine automation systems. It is designed for servo axes that require more motor current than compact MC-4 versions while retaining the same integrated PacDrive drive architecture.
The unit combines the mains supply section, DC link, inverter output stage, internal braking circuit, and servo regulator in one cabinet-mounted module. With a rated output current of 22 Aeff and a one-second peak current of 55 Aeff, it is suitable for demanding positioning, indexing, synchronized conveying, and machine-axis applications.
Real-time drive commands are transmitted through the integrated SERCOS fiber optic interface from a compatible PacDrive controller. The drive also supports electronic motor nameplate recognition and single-turn or multi-turn encoder processing when used with matching PacDrive servo motors.
This model is a servo amplifier, not a motion controller, PLC, VFD, or energy-management device. Its function is to power and regulate one compatible servo motor axis within an established PacDrive system.
