Description

B&R X20IF1082-2 POWERLINK Ring Redundancy Module

The B&R X20IF1082-2 adds a second application-specific POWERLINK interface to a compatible X20 controller. It can operate as a POWERLINK managing node or controlled node and provides two RJ45 connections through an integrated hub.

The module supports configurable ring redundancy, Dynamic Node Allocation and Poll Response Chaining. Compared with the standard X20IF1082, the “-2” version adds PRC functionality, making it more suitable for optimized real-time networks and advanced controller architectures.
