Description

B&R X20BC0088 EtherNet/IP Adapter Bus Controller

The B&R X20BC0088 integrates X20 I/O stations into an EtherNet/IP network as an adapter device. It combines dual external RJ45 connections, an integrated switch, DHCP support and a web interface for configuration and diagnostics.

Unlike X20BC0087, which communicates through Modbus TCP or UDP, X20BC0088 exchanges cyclic I/O data through EtherNet/IP. Its 1 ms minimum fieldbus cycle makes it suitable for fast distributed machine I/O, while advanced multifunction-module configurations can be transferred through the configuration assembly.
