Description

B&R X20BC0087 Modbus TCP UDP Bus Controller

The B&R X20BC0087 connects X20 and X2X Link I/O modules to Modbus TCP or Modbus UDP networks. Its two external RJ45 ports and integrated switch simplify line wiring through multiple remote I/O stations.

The controller supports DHCP, BOOTP and configurable I/O cycles from 0.5 to 4 ms. Compared with protocol-specific real-time controllers such as X20BC00G3, the X20BC0087 is intended for broadly compatible Modbus applications rather than synchronized high-speed motion networks.
