B&R X20BC0063 PROFIBUS DP Slave Bus Controller

The B&R X20BC0063 connects modular X20 I/O stations to PROFIBUS DP as a V0 slave. Its 9-pin DSUB interface supports automatic transfer-rate detection and communication speeds up to 12 Mbit/s.

A distinguishing feature is its detailed device, module and channel diagnostics. Communication can continue with available X2X Link nodes even when individual configured nodes are missing or unpowered, which is useful for modular machinery and staged commissioning.
