The B&R 4PPC30.0702-22B combines a 7.0-inch resistive-touch HMI with an embedded Power Panel C30 controller. Its 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, 256 MB DRAM, 512 MB flash and 8 kB FRAM support Automation Runtime applications with a shortest task class cycle of 1 ms.
The -22B variant is defined by its CAN plus RS232 interface combination. It is a better fit than the dual-CAN -21 version when a legacy serial device, barcode reader or service instrument must be connected alongside a CAN network.
