The B&R 4PPC70.0573-20W combines a 5.7-inch HMI with a Power Panel C70 machine controller. The fanless Atom E620T platform provides 256 MB DRAM, 2 GB eMMC flash, 32 kB FRAM and a 0.4 ms shortest task class cycle for integrated control and visualization.
This is the compact landscape C70 base-interface model. It includes the core POWERLINK, standard Ethernet and X2X Link connections without the extra CAN or serial ports used by -21, -22 and -23 variants, reducing interface complexity for native B&R architectures.
· Integrated controller and 5.7-inch HMI
· VGA 640 x 480 pixels analog resistive touch display
· POWERLINK V2 interface with managing or controlled node capability
· X2X Link master for distributed I/O
· Base interface version without added CAN or serial ports
· Fanless design with ACOPOS and Visual Components support
· Compact POWERLINK machines
· X2X Link I/O control
· Motion-enabled packaging equipment
· Integrated HMI and controller retrofits
· Small synchronized automation systems
The C70 is a controller-design Power Panel. Confirm the full model number, interface variant, terminal blocks, Automation Studio and Runtime versions, hardware revision, project backup and current plant cybersecurity requirements before reuse or replacement.
Q: Is this model a combined controller and HMI?
A: Yes. The C70 integrates the visualization panel and Automation Runtime machine controller in one device.
Q: Can it operate on a POWERLINK network?
A: Yes. The POWERLINK V2 interface can be configured as a managing or controlled node, depending on the application.
Q: Does it provide an X2X Link master?
A: Yes. A dedicated X2X Link master interface is included for connecting compatible distributed I/O.
Q: Does this exact variant include extra serial or CAN interfaces?
A: No additional CAN, RS232 or RS485 interface is fitted on this -20W base variant. POWERLINK, Ethernet, X2X Link and USB are included.
Q: Does it support ACOPOS motion applications?
A: Yes. ACOPOS support is listed for the C70 platform, subject to the Automation Runtime project and system engineering.
Q: Can another C70 interface variant be substituted directly?
A: Not automatically. Match the screen size, front design, CAN or serial interfaces, terminal blocks, hardware revision, Runtime version and application backup.
